Vista Elementary School
One of the two fundamental elementary schools in Simi Valley, Vista Elementary School ensures that every student gains academic mastery while enjoying a supportive learning experience. Students, families, and staff embrace our motto of TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More), the cornerstone for our tradition of excellence. Vista is a STEM learning community (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). A rigorous educational program exists within a nurturing atmosphere where STEM and the California State Standards weave together seamlessly to
prepare students for the opportunities of the 21st century. We are a California Gold Ribbon School and a National Blue Ribbon School.
Kindergarten Lottery Information
Kindergarten Lottery applications will be available beginning at 8:30 AM on January 8 through January 19, 2024. Applications must be picked up in person and cannot be emailed. Applications are due back to the Vista office by 3:00 PM on Friday, January 19th. Lottery applications cannot be submitted to both Hollow Hills and Vista. You may only apply to one fundamental school. Children applying for the lottery must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 and must be a Simi Valley resident.
An information meeting will be held on Thursday, January 11th at 6:00 p.m. via zoom.
