Principal s Message

Dear Vista Families,

On behalf of the Vista staff, I would like to welcome you to our wonderful school. We are excited for the opportunity to partner with you in supporting your child in their educational journey!

Although this is my first year as principal at Vista Fundamental, I bring to you nine years of experiences and background knowledge as an elementary principal in the Burbank Unified School District.  Vista students thrive because of the support and collaboration between students, families, staff and the community. Our collective experiences and resources will provide a strong framework upon which to enhance the learning of all students. I look forward to developing new partnerships with this school community.

Over the past years, Vista Fundamental Elementary has been recognized for academic excellence, parent involvement, and the development of our STEM program. The success of our school rests on the foundation of high expectations, collaboration, and a strong commitment by parents and staff to provide daily support to their students’ development. This foundation is built upon the hard work and commitment of the students, parents, and staff. As we begin this school year, I welcome you to our campus to become an active partner in creating an environment of student growth and development. Opportunities to support your child are available in many different forms from home support of academics and work habits to volunteer opportunities in the classroom and special events. There are many ways to enhance your child’s school experience. I invite you to inquire about new opportunities to be an active participant at Vista Fundamental where our motto is “Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM)!"
